Popsicles

Have you bought one of the versions of the fun shaped Popsicle molds taking up space on the shelves of your favorite stores? Do you have an ice cube tray? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions then you have the equipment you need to make a healthier version of popsicles your kids will love!

Blenderize any of their favorite fruits (my kids love blueberries, peaches &/or strawberries) with some of the delicious 100% fruit/vegetable juices (look for Juices without high fructose corn syrup). This should be mixed until it is a “thick juice” consistency. Add 1 tsp of cinnamon &/or honey to taste. Pour it into your molds & pop in the freezer. Enjoy this, guilt free, with your kids all summer under the shade of a big tree. It even counts as one of the fruits for the day! This is a great way to get in Vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants.
