First and Goal Fruit Dip

OK, so you’ve had it with the heavy holiday meals and desserts. But it’s playoff season! I think setting out a healthy, fresh and light alternative to chips, onion dip, chilli and cheese is just the answer. Be a role model to your kids and eat this too. It’s very quick to make and will have you in front of the screen in NO TIME Flat.
You could probably even make it during commercial break of the 2 minute warning.

This is a side dish I like to put out when I have a bunch of kids around. It seems obvious but if you offer healthy snacks, hungry kids will eat them. Even at parties. The Kids will always gravitate to the candy and sugary treats, but I discovered that if this dip were along side the treats, it would get eaten as well. Toddlers do well with it if it’s put on their plate with fruit or even graham crackers. There is about 2 grams of protein in 1 oz of cream cheese, which is very valuable to growing children.
Plus, for busy parents it is extremely easy to make. No more difficult than combining a few ingredients and slicing seasonal fruits.
Ingredients:
· 8 oz of Reduced Fat Cream Cheese
· 1/3 Cup packed light brown sugar
· 1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla
Family favorite sliced fruits (sliced)
Combine together in a bowl and surround with fresh fruits on a platter.
ENJOY THE GAME!
