Kids and a Cook Presents the May Cookie Company

We’re pretty happy about these cookies. They are easy to make and come out like home made. A great alternative to making cookies from scratch and a great way to start out young bakers. The ingredient list is short — and you can decide if you want to use the entire sugar packet. The beauty of this mix is you can make substitutions too! There’s suggestions on the box. We made the Triple Chocolate Oatmeal cookies on the video.  Other varieties are Hearty Oatmeal-cranberry and Rich & Chewy Chocolate-Chocolate chip.

All use whole grains, fruit, and natural raw sugar. The chocolate chocolate chip even has  flax meal!

When we spoke with Susan from May Cookie Co., she told us she really wanted to instill her passion for fresh, healthy food into her cookie mix. She also said that customers pass these off as homemade all the time. Try them and you will see this is true. Bottom line — your kids will like them and get to eat a better cookie and you’ll have the memories. Keep a box around for the next snow day from school.

The May Cookie Company is located in Connecticut and will soon be on shelves across the country at Home Goods Stores and at Whole Foods. You can order on-line too www.maycookie.com
